The Media Food Drive is one of the most important solidarity initiatives in Quebec. Every year, it brings together all of the local media to collect food and cash donations to stock food banks in anticipation of the holiday season. Riposte has worked in close collaboration on numerous aspects of the event with its organizers for many years now. And in 2021, it was time for a brand redesign.
The result? A new website that optimizes the donation experience while allowing users to discover all of the possible ways they can contribute to the mission. We used the redesign as an opportunity to create an optimal mobile experience. In addition, an analysis of the data informed us that these types of donations continued to grow each year. To limit costs, we wanted to provide the organization with a more lasting solution. To achieve this, we used Yapla CSM coupled with the Yapla Donations and Members functions which made it possible to display information dynamically on the site and limit traditional redesigns, making the investment more sustainable.
With the global pandemic, 2021 was a unique year. Despite this, the citizens of Quebec showed up to raise a record amount of more than $4 million.
Pour la première fois en 2021, la guignolée des médias a ajouté à ses actions promotionnelles, une stratégie d’infolettre. Les donateurs des éditions passées étaient invités à faire un don. L’opération fut un véritable succès. Nous avons pu remarquer une hausse des dons notable suite à l’envoi de la campagne.
